Book as soon as possible after your 12-week scan, as Laura reserves space around your due date. The ideal age to photograph a newborn is between 5 and 21 days old. If your baby has already passed this stage, contact Laura as soon as you can to discuss options.

Is a deposit required to secure a booking?

Yes. A £50 deposit is required to secure your booking. This is deducted from the total cost of your chosen package.

Do I need to choose a package before my session?

No. You view your images in a private online gallery after the session and then choose the package that suits you best. There are no hidden costs.

When will I receive my photos after the session?

Approximately two to three weeks after your session, you will receive access to a private online gallery to view and select your favourite images from home.

Is Laura DBS checked?

Yes. Laura is fully DBS checked and fully trained in newborn, baby, and family photography.

Can Laura travel to my home for a session?

Yes, but only for the full newborn session. Travel is available within a 30-minute drive of MK18 2NU for an additional charge of £50.

What age is best for a sitter session?

Sitter sessions work best between 6 and 10 months, when your baby can sit comfortably on their own. If your baby is not yet sitting independently at the booked date, Laura can reschedule for a later date.

How far in advance should I book a birthday or cake smash session?

Laura recommends booking 2–3 weeks before the birthday if you want the images ready in time for the occasion. You are welcome to book further in advance to secure your preferred date.
