Questions and answers

How do I secure my date with you?
Your date is secure once a deposit has been paid and contracts have been signed. Dates cannot be held without both steps and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
How would you describe your photography style?
Edward takes a natural, documentary approach and focuses on real moments and emotions. About 99% of photos are unposed. Even during portraits, guidance covers lighting and position only — how you stand or hold each other is left to feel natural.
Should I add a second photographer?
Yes. A second photographer captures multiple angles, including from the back of the aisle during the ceremony, and typically adds 150–200 more images to your final gallery.
What is your backup process?
Edward uses two camera bodies with dual memory card slots, so every photo is immediately backed up on two cards. Mid-day card changes create a third backup, and all images are copied to a separate hard drive and to the cloud within hours of the wedding.
How long will it take to receive my gallery?
Full photo galleries are delivered within 4–6 weeks of the wedding date. Films take 6–8 weeks.
Do you travel to shoot destination weddings?
Yes. Edward regularly photographs destination weddings and welcomes enquiries from couples anywhere.
Do you offer albums, prints, or other products?
Yes. Albums, prints, frames, canvases, and memory boxes are all available. Pricing is provided on request.
Are you insured?
Yes. Edward holds public liability and professional indemnity insurance, as well as equipment insurance.
What happens if you are ill on my wedding day?
If a second photographer is booked, they take on the primary role. Edward also has a network of photographers across the country and will seek a replacement to ensure your day is documented.
