TipiJoy is a family-run business based in Cranfield, Bedfordshire, specialising in indoor tipi hire for children's sleepover parties. Owner Sam delivers, sets up, and styles hand-crafted tipis with themed accessories, bedding, and battery-powered lighting at your home, then returns the following morning to collect. A range of themed packages is available on request, transforming any indoor space into a magical overnight adventure for girls and boys aged five and over.

- Can the tipis be used outdoors?
- No. The tents are not waterproof and can only be used indoors.
- What is the minimum age for a sleepover party?
- The minimum age is 5 years. Children must be supervised throughout the sleepover.
- How much space is needed for each tipi?
- Each tent measures 180 cm (L) × 90 cm (W) × 115 cm (H), with a total footprint of approximately 215 cm × 90 cm including the breakfast tray.
- Do I need to provide power for the lights?
- No. All lights are battery-powered; no external power source is required.
- How long does setup take?
- Approximately 1–1.5 hours depending on the party size.
- How are the tents and bedding cleaned between bookings?
- Tent covers are washed with sensitive detergent. Mattresses and cushions are cleaned and disinfected after every use. Bedding is washed with antibacterial, non-biological detergents after each hire.
- What deposit is required to book, and when is the balance due?
- A 25% holding deposit is required to confirm your booking. This is refundable subject to a damage inspection after collection. The full balance is due one week before the event, payable by bank transfer or PayPal.
- What is the cancellation policy?
- The booking deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
- What is the hire period?
- Tipis are set up on the event day at an agreed time and collected by noon the following day. Extensions are available for an additional fee.
- How far in advance do I need to request a theme?
- Themes are available upon request with a minimum of two weeks' notice.
- Is TipiJoy insured?
- Yes. Public Liability Insurance is in place; the certificate is available upon request.
