Questions and answers
- How far in advance should I book?
- Dream & Dazzle recommend booking at least 2–3 months in advance to secure your preferred date and time, especially for weekends. Last-minute bookings are considered subject to availability.
- How do deposits and payment work?
- A £50 deposit secures your date, paid via a secure payment link. The remaining balance is due the day before the event using the same payment method.
- What age range are the parties suitable for?
- Dream & Dazzle entertain children from first birthday parties right through to age 7–8. Princess parties are best suited to ages 3–6 years.
- What areas do you cover?
- Dream & Dazzle cover London, Surrey, and surrounding areas including parts of Kent, Essex, Hertfordshire, and Sussex. Additional travel costs may apply for locations beyond this region.
- Are your entertainers DBS checked?
- Yes, all Dream & Dazzle entertainers are DBS checked.
- Where can I host my party?
- Parties can be held in a hall, community centre, pub or restaurant, or a private home. Venues must provide appropriate changing facilities for the performer. Summer outdoor parties in parks require a party assistant; an indoor backup is strongly recommended in case of rain.
- Can the entertainer stay longer than the booked time?
- Entertainers may stay up to 15 minutes at their discretion. If you need a formal extension, an additional 15–30 minutes costs £50, or 30–60 minutes costs £100.
- Do invitations come included with the party?
- Yes — free personalised digital invitations, designed to match your chosen theme, are included with every booking.
- Is there a discount for weekday parties?
- Yes, midweek parties receive £20 off the standard package price.
- Can I have other entertainment alongside a Dream & Dazzle performer?
- Yes, though the main party packages are designed as the primary entertainment. The Picture Perfect Princess or Sparkle and Snap packages are better suited to events where other entertainment (such as a bouncy castle) is already in place, as these can be distracting during more interactive shows.
- Do you offer characters other than princesses?
- Yes — in addition to princess characters, Dream & Dazzle offer K-Pop parties, Cocomelon-themed parties, Ms Rachel-inspired parties, and LOL Dolls parties.
- What happens if my outdoor party is rained on?
- An indoor backup is strongly recommended. Gazebos can sometimes work depending on the number of children, but the team advises having a contingency plan in place.
