Questions and answers

Do you take music requests on the night?
Yes — Stuart is always happy to take requests on the night and will abide by your playlist and music brief throughout the event.
Are lighting, haze, and bubble machines included in the price?
Yes. Unlike some DJs, JnJ Entertainments does not charge extra for additional lighting, haze, or bubble machines — the price quoted is fully inclusive.
What happens if we want to party past midnight?
The standard package covers a disco ending by midnight. Parties continuing past midnight are subject to an additional charge.
Do you drink or smoke at events?
No — Stuart is a non-smoker and does not drink while working, so he can remain entirely focused on delivering the best experience for your event.
How much will you use the microphone?
Mic use is kept to a minimum. Stuart will use it when appropriate or as instructed by the client or venue, but believes the music — not the DJ — should be the focus of your evening.
What DJ equipment do you use?
Stuart uses the Denon Prime 4 all-in-one standalone DJ system (with onboard hard drive and USB backup), the HK Audio Lucas performer sound system, and a Chauvet DMX lighting rig. As a further backup he carries iPads capable of downloading any requested track not already in his library.
How can I make sure the dancefloor stays busy?
Stuart reads the dancefloor throughout the night and plays your requested playlist. He also advises placing additional entertainment (such as photo booths) close to the dancefloor and recommends that the host leads by dancing early — guests tend to follow.
